Fresh from ten days in Cornwall and Wales, I’m recording this one still carrying the land in my body, and that’s exactly where we’re going today. Into the gut. Into the belly’s ancient intelligence. Into what Ayurveda has always known and what modern science is only beginning to catch up to.
In this episode I share three moments from my time in Cornwall where my body spoke before my mind had words, a smell on a country lane that opened something deep, the Atlantic air doing what only the sea can do, and sitting across from friends I hadn’t seen in nearly twenty years and picking up mid-sentence, as if no time had passed at all.
We explore Manovaha Srotas, the Ayurvedic mind-gut channel, alongside Agni, our digestive fire, and what it truly means to digest life, not just food. Because Ayurveda has always known that we process experiences, emotions, and memories the same way we process a meal. And when we can’t, when life moves too fast or asks too much, we accumulate Ama. Undigested life.
This episode closes with a simple grounding practice to help you return to your body after travel, intensity, or fullness of any kind.
What are you digesting that isn’t food?
